Great rack

I have a wood floor on my trailer. I found out that the best way to secure the base of the rack is to notch the wood so that the base of the rack goes down through the wood to get more support. You will need to drill a 5/16" hole through the trailer railing and the rack to use the bolts that come with it. My trailer has heavy steel railings so it was necessary to start out with a smaller bit and work my way up to the 5/16. The rack works well for the 3 trimmers that I have on it with a space of about 40" between the posts. I made the mistake of leaving the locks unlocked and hanging in the loops on the rack as I drove about a quarter mIle down the street, and they all bounced out. I was lucky to find them the next day on the road. The locks that come with the rack are very large and heavy duty. I was looking for new ones to replace the ones I thought I had lost and they are very expensive.
Overall, the racks and locks are very nice and work great. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.
