Commercial Push Mowers and Edgers

Navigating the world of garden tools can be daunting and confusing. With so many exciting options available to look after your lawn, it can be hard to know which product is right for you. Here at Bradley Mowers, we take pride in matching our customers with products that suit their needs. That's why we always recommend purchasing commercial lawn mowers over conventional residential models due to their efficiency and life span. You don't have to worry about common problems, such as overheating or not covering enough ground with these models.

If you're looking for something a bit less intimidating than the standard sit-on models available, enter commercial push lawn mowers. These are the ideal solution if you're looking for a smaller-scale product that does the job. Here's what you need to know.

Commercial Push Mowers, Trimmers and Edgers

If you're looking for a reliable garden tool that covers a modest area of ground, it's best to stick with commercial push mowers. Suitable for small areas of land, push mowers require you to walk along with them while you tend to your grass. Standing over your lawn mower while mowing helps you see exactly what you're doing and whether or not you need to change anything up. Commercial push mowers are best used in conjunction with commercial lawn edgers and commercial trimmers. These tools help you get areas that are hard to reach with standard lawn mowers, such as slopes or sides.

Battery vs. Gas Push Mowers

Battery lawn mowers are generally considered easier to maintain than gas push mowers. They tend to be smaller, making them easy to move around and store. This means they don't require as much maintenance, such as oil replacements, filter changes, etc. They are a more environmentally friendly choice and aren't as loud as gas models.

Gas models, on the other hand, tend to do a much better job when cutting tall grass. They have much more power behind them and are regarded as more affordable. Both of these models work well for commercial or residential use. The type of lawn mower you go for depends on your circumstances and preferences.

Straight vs. Curved Shaft Trimmers

Trimmers with curved shafts are used for cutting hard-to-reach areas, such as around flower beds and on the sides of lawns. These are especially helpful when trying to target awkward angles your mower can't get to.

Trimmers with straight shafts are generally used for standard jobs that require lots of power. This can be helpful for jobs under decks or behind large hedges or trees.

Push vs. Stick Edgers

Push edgers help create defined borders between edges and grass. They look great and can help elevate your lawn.

Stick edgers are used for edging things, such as driveways and walkways. Both push and stick edgers can be suitable for looking after a lawn. It just depends on personal preference and the type of space you're working with.

I lost a piston on my 24 year old 22" High Wheel mower, which they don't make any more, so turned to Google. This is as close as I could expect to come as a replacement. I added some oil and gas, started on the first pull, and my daughter tried it out. It is a little lighter and a lot shinier than my old one, hope it holds up as well.

Love it, handles easy

Been using this mower for home use the last 3 years and it's the best I've ever owned. Tall grass doesn't slow it down, the motor starts with no more than 3 pulls, it's light, yet very ruggedly built. I purchased it because of the POS big box store mowers that wouldn't last more than a few years. This was money well spent, built so well, I think the mower will out live me. The only down side, no quick adjust wheel height, which is a minor gripe.
